All students must maintain access to a reliable personal computing device that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications, as published and reviewed annually by the IT Department:
Operating System: A computer running Windows 10 or newer, or macOS 10.15 or later.
Processor: Intel Core i5 or comparable model and above.
RAM: At least 8GB required (16GB is suggested for high-performance applications like Cybersecurity or Data Science).
Storage: Minimum of 256GB Solid-State Drive (SSD).
Internet Requirements: Stable broadband connection with at least 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds.
Web Browser: Most recent release of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
Required Software: Office productivity suite (e.g., Microsoft Office), Adobe Reader, and reliable antivirus protection.
Additional Software: Functional webcam, microphone, and either speakers or headphones for online classes, assessments, and virtual meetings.
Students are expected to test their systems prior to the start of each term to ensure compatibility with university platforms.
