Master’s Degree Programs

Applicants to master's programs (including the Master of Science in Computer Science and the Master of Business Administration) must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, typically in a relevant discipline. Applicants from unrelated fields may be considered if they demonstrate sufficient foundational knowledge or professional experience.

  • Academic Performance: A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants with lower GPAs may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with additional documentation or conditional admission.

  • English Language Proficiency: Required for applicants whose primary language is not English. Proof may be demonstrated through one of the following:

    • TOEFL: Minimum score of 79 IBT

    • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5

    • Duolingo: Minimum score of 105

    • Official confirmation from a prior institution where English was the language of instruction

    • A university-administered English interview (for select candidates)

  • Transcripts: Official transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions are required. Degrees earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated by an approved credential verification agency.

  • Application Materials: A completed application for admission, current résumé or CV, and a personal or goal statement outlining professional objectives and academic readiness.
