The Incomplete Grade ("I") is designated for students who, due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies or family crises, are unable to complete their coursework by the end of the academic term. To qualify for an Incomplete, students must have completed a significant portion of the course with a passing grade and must provide valid reasons for their inability to finish on time. Upon approval, an Instructor Agreement is drafted, specifying the remaining coursework, deadlines, and completion expectations. Students are required to finalize the outstanding coursework within the default deadline, which extends to the end of the following academic term, unless an extension is granted by the academic department. Failure to meet the completion deadline results in the Incomplete grade converting to a final grade of "F".
