Although Glenmore University does not currently award federal financial aid, the university complies with all regulations governing Title IV and Veterans Benefits. In cases where a student has received federal student financial aid funds, they are entitled to a refund of any un-disbursed monies from the federal student financial aid program funds.
For programs extending beyond the current "payment period," if a student secures a loan to finance their educational program, they are responsible for repaying the full loan amount plus interest, minus any applicable refund. The refund will be remitted to the lender, third party, or, if applicable, to the state or federal agency that guaranteed or reinsured the loan.
Should a student be eligible for a loan guaranteed by the federal or state government and subsequently default on the loan, the following actions may occur:
-
The federal or state government or a loan guarantee agency may take action against the student, including applying any income tax refund owed to the student to reduce the loan balance.
-
The student may become ineligible for any further federal student financial aid at another institution or other government assistance until the loan is repaid.
